Our annual Marketing Tactics Survey is complete, and we are ready to share the results!
Much like last year, most companies are beginning the new year with an aggressive marketing approach: 81% plan to increase their overall marketing efforts (a slight increase from 80% last year) and 58% plan to increase their overall marketing spending (down from 63% last year). With the growth of social media, people feel like they can do more for less.
Among the other highlights:
- 88% of respondents said that digital marketing tactics will be “most important” to their marketing efforts in 2014 .
- The majority of those who are not using social media claim that it is due to lack of time (40%) or lack of human resources (30%).
- On Facebook, 33% of respondents reported using the Boost Post feature, 29% said that they purchase small sidebar ads and 21% are purchasing large timeline ads.
