Who really needs help here?
This photo was taken this week in the Atlanta airport. All these people are gathered in a large area called (somewhat euphemistically, I suspect) “Need Help? Center.”
The place was packed. Lines for the customer service reps (not seen in this image) were stacked deep with waiting customers. The Phone banks (the white displays) were all [...]
Radio station getting out (literally) for a good cause!
We could not let this story pass as we are faced with it right outside of our office windows.
Local radio station KISSFM 103.3 is hosting an event “Live for 175” at 9th & Front St. which began this morning at 10am for the 4th Annual Child Abuse Prevention Campaign! DJ Keke Luv is broadcasting live on the official [...]

Color Commentary
It all started with the quest for the perfect gray (or is it ‘grey’?) for my walls. I knew it was out there. What I didn’t know is (1) how much color can affect how you feel and (2) that there are people - color consultants - that make a living by finding just the right shade.
Since my quest had to [...]
Idaho Statesman launches new biz section.
Did you notice this? We did. And while the Statesman’s online log-in system–used, evidently for Business Insider, too–is very buggy and doesn’t allow for instant access (please fix this Idaho Statesman!), it is great to see a fresh effort by the State’s largest newspaper to cover the local business scene.
Capital City Communicators Impact Awards
The advertising industry has its awards shows. PR folks, too. But other business communicators? The ones working in the trenches to create annual reports, tech sheets, publicity plans, web sites and the like for their corporate employers are often left on the sidelines.
That’s why Capital City Communicators created the Impact Awards. Now all sorts of [...]
