Perspective, Poetry, Post-Its.

Katie (S. not M., wait that doesn’t sound right) led this week’s team Lunch, Lounge andLearn.

Our activities centered around exploring perspective. Specifically, altering our own, then attempting to alter the perspective of others.

How? Two activities:

1) Re-purposed poetry: we each had to transform a  piece of random w

riting (written by someone else) into our own poem by blacking out un-needed words. Ron worked with a sample of our Twitter feed, Steve with a piece about Bacon, Jeff with a bio of AC/DC…you get the idea. The results were great.

2) Our own Operation Beautiful: we created fun, random, (mostly) positive messages on Post-It notes and stuck them around BoDo. Hopefully, they made someone smile.

The lesson learned: we can all use to challenge our perspective once and awhile.
