Money well spent.
A few years back we started feeling like the tradition of business Christmas cards had lost its way. What had once been personalized, heart-felt greetings had been increasingly replaced with automated, mass-produced sent out of obligation.
Even worse, many of us in the creative field seemed to be spending amazing amounts of time out “clevering” ourselves and our industry colleague.
It didn’t feel right.
So Rizen decided to re-align our Christmas cards with our values. Hence, a new tradition was born: each year, we invite students from a local school to design our card(s). Winners are chosen and we make a donation to the school’s foundation in support of art in publication.
This year’s winners (sorry, we can’t broadcast their names except for on the cards themselves) are below. They are the result of two very artistic 2nd graders and a kindergartener from Hidden Springs Charter School.
If you want to get on the list to receive next year’s card, email us. We’d be thrilled to send it along.
Happy holidays.
