Operator . . . can I get an iPhone?

Apparently Apple and it’s latest generation iPhone are alive and well, opposite of what you might be hearing from the industry and GOOGLE, because the buying public have spoken. On Tuesday, June 15th, Apple made the new iPhone available for pre-order for delivery on the 24th. The turnout to collect one of these coveted pieces of metal, glass and Apple goodness was overwhelming. According to a release by Apple, all 600,000 phones allotted for the pre-order day were filled! The audience turned out to be 10x what the rate of pre-orders were for the iPhone 3GS at its initial offering.

At last check, if you pre-order today, you will have to wait until July 14th. Better get in line at your favorite iPhone retailer now . . . tent and sleeping bag in hand if you want a chance at one of these phones when they go on sale June 24th.
